Biography Joined UT Southwestern: 2020 Clinical Interests: epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology Research: Currently, there is a notable level of undesirable variability in EEG interpretations worldwide, often leading to erroneous diagnoses and improper medical management of individuals with seizures and epilepsy. Our efforts at measuring and improving the accuracy and reliability of EEG interpretation--such as via educational interventions, design and validation of EEG competency assessments, and the development and application of AI models--have the potential to transform the landscape of epilepsy care by establishing a higher standard of neurophysiological practice across diverse clinical settings.
