Ling Chen, M.D., Ph.D. Titles and Appointments Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Pathology Biography Dr. Ling Chen, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in Gynecologic Pathology. She earned her medical degree from Inner Mongolia Medical University and a Ph.D. in Pathology from Peking University Health Science Center, both in China. Dr. Chen completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Pathology at UT Southwestern. She also completed postdoctoral fellowships at The Ohio State University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Dr. Chen joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025. Her clinical interests include gynecologic malignancies and precancerous lesions.
