Biography Teriann Fisher Scheets received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Baylor University, Waco, Texas in December 1984. She obtained her Master degree in Communication Disorders (Audiology) in December 1986 from the University of Texas at Dallas. Following graduation, Dr. Scheets was a pediatric audiologist with the Arkansas Department of Health for five and one-half years. In September 1992, she joined the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as a faculty associate in audiology. Dr. Scheets was awarded her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences in March 2008. Her primary areas of interest include pediatric audiology and newborn hearing screening. She currently coordinates the Infant Hearing Screening Program at Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
