Dr. Ahmed Alobaidi is originally from Iraq and received his initial medical training at the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. During his internship with the Jordan Hospital in Amman, Jordan he decided to pursue a career in internal medicine. He immigrated to the United States with his family and completed internal medicine training with the UT Southwestern internal medicine residency program in 2013. Dr. Alobaidi brings to UTSW a background of extensive exposure to patients with chronic liver diseases and liver transplant recipients having previously worked as a Hospitalist with the Liver Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Alobaidi’s interests outside medicine include hiking, reading and travel.
