  • Biography

    Dr. Jetpuri is a native to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, originally from Richardson, TX.  She completed her undergraduate Biology and Business degree and her Masters in Business Administration degree at the University of Texas at Dallas.  After graduating medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX, she did her residency in Family Medicine with UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital.  During her residency, she developed a strong interest in Preventative Care and Pediatrics, and went on to publish book chapters on pediatric topics.  She also performed community research focused on pediatric access to care, which helped her achieve a Departmental Distinction in this area.  She received her Certificate in Public Health from the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center during this time as well.  After residency, she joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor where she works to educate residents and also maintains a practice at the Family Medicine - Primary Care clinic on the University campus.

    Dr. Jetpuri is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is committed to helping her patients lead healthier lives.  Dr. Jetpuri sees patients from newborns to seniors and enjoys seeing adolescents.  She particularly has a clinical interest in teaching and in chronic conditions like High Blood Pressure, Diabetes and Hyperlipidemia which has made her committed to early detection and prevention of diseases. 

    Outside of medicine, she participates at community health fairs, enjoys time with her four children, and visits local parks and museums.
