  • Biography

    Dr. Jenny Weon joined the Department of Pathology at UT Southwestern as an Assistant Instructor in 2024 and currently serves as a neuropathologist and as Medical Director of Pathology Informatics and Associate Medical Informatics Officer for Parkland Health. 

    Dr. Weon received her MD and PhD through the Medical Scientist Training Program at UT Southwestern in 2019 and completed pathology residency at UT Southwestern (co-chief resident, 2021-2022). She completed her integrated clinical informatics and neuropathology fellowships at UT Southwestern.

    She is passionate about utilizing data and incorporating new technology to improve the quality of patient care and advance the practice of pathology. Her current operational priority is the implementation of digital pathology and her current research priority is to develop a predictive model for Alzheimer's Disease using multimodal data that can be implemented in the electronic health record at the point-of-care.
