Jing Wang, Ph.D. Associate Vice Chair for Data Management Professor School Medical School Department Radiation Oncology Graduate Programs Biomedical Engineering Biography Jing Wang, Ph.D., is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is part of the Department of Radiation Oncology’s Division of Medical Physics and Engineering. Dr. Wang earned a bachelor’s degree in material physics at the University of Science and Technology of China. He attended graduate school at Stony Brook University, earning his M.A. and Ph.D. in physics. Dr. Wang subsequently completed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Radiology at Stony Brook University, followed by training in radiation physics at Stanford University. After that, Dr. Wang joined the UTSW’s Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Wang is a licensed medical physicist in Texas and is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in therapeutic medical physics.
