Biography Senthil Sivam, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Sivam holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He pursued his medical degree at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in India, and then returned to Central Texas for internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. He continued his career in academic medicine as an assistant professor at Dell Medical School. After nearly 20 years in Austin, Dr. Sivam decided to move closer to family to raise his two young sons and continue his academic medicine career at UT Southwestern.
