Jennifer McConnell, M.D. Titles and Appointments Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Pediatrics Biography Jennifer McConnell, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern. She attended the UT Southwestern Medical Center for medical school and completed her pediatric residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After residency, she worked as a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics and Cardiac Critical Care Hospitalist at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian in New York, New York. She is now an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and works in the emergency departments at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and in Plano. Dr. McConnell currently serves as the Assistant Education Director for resident education, and is a member of the Medical Student Teaching Committee. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
