Biography
Dr. Koduru completed the basic biological sciences education at the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India with major in Genetics and Plant Breeding. After completing a Doctoral research program in cytogenetics and genetics, he was awarded Ph.D. in 1979, and continued at Andhra University in postdoctoral research in genetics. He completed a research fellowship in cancer genetics and cytogenetics at Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research, New York, and is board certified in Clinical Cytogenetics. In addition, he was qualified and obtained certificates of qualification as director of cytogenetics, genetic testing, and molecular oncology laboratories from the Department of Health, State of New York. He authored more than 100 original research papers in cytogenetics, molecular genetics and molecular pathology. He completed a graduate program in health care administration at Hofstra Univeristy, Hempstead, NY with distinction.
