  • Biography

    Dr. Kho is a member of the Division of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern. She is the Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery Fellowship and leads the Department's Simulation Training Program for residents and fellows.

    Dr. Kho is Associate Chief of Gynecology at Clements University Hospital and sees patients at the Lowe Foundation Center for Women's Preventative Health Care at UT Southwestern. She holds the Helen J. and Robert S. Strauss and Diana K. and Richard C. Strauss Chair in Women's Health.

    Dr. Kho completed a joint undergraduate and medical program at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine in 2004 and obtained a Masters in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2004.  She then went on to complete her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center and a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery under Dr. Ceana Nezhat.  In 2009, she joined the faculty at UT Southwestern as a member of the Division of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. 

    Dr. Kho's clinical work focuses on advanced minimally invasive surgery for benign gynecologic disorders such as abnormal bleeding, endometriosis and fibroids.  She completed an NIH supported Masters in Clinical Science in 2014 and conducts clinical research in the use of technology in gynecologic surgery, surgical complications, simulation and surgical education.
