Biography

Dr. Mathew Stokes is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology. He completed his medical degree and Pediatric Neurology Residency at UT Southwestern. Following residency he completed fellowship training in Pediatric Headache, focusing on sports neurology and concussion. His clinical interests include caring for children and adolescents with headache or concussion, and treating athletes with any neurological conditions preventing them from participating in sports with their peers. His research interests include autonomic dysfunction in concussion, as well as epidemiology and long-term outcomes following concussion.
