  • Biography

    Dr. Bradley-Guidry earned a Bachelor degree in Nursing at Texas Christian University in 1987 and a Bachelor degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the UT Southwestern Medical Center School of Health Professions in 1998. She earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of Nebraska in 2006 and earned a Doctor of Public Health degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, School of Public Health in 2019.

    Dr. Bradley-Guidry joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2010 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018, and Professor in 2024, marking a historic milestone as the program’s first female professor.

    A passionate dedicated educator, Dr. Bradley-Guidry was inducted into the Southwestern Academy of Teachers (SWAT) in 2020, earning the endowed title of Distinguished Teaching Professor. In 2023, she received the SWAT Outstanding Educator Award in recognition of teaching excellence. Her clinical expertise is in cardiovascular disease, particularly hypertension. Dr. Bradley-Guidry is a National Institute of Minority Health Disparities Scholar. Her funded research focuses on the health professions workforce and health disparities.

    Dr. Bradley-Guidry joined the School of Health Professions Office of the Dean in 2017 and was promoted to Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Engagement in March of 2023.
