Biography Download Curriculum Vitae Shannon Kelley, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric pathology with an emphasis on liver disease in children. Dr. Kelley earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and a fellowship in pediatric pathology at UT Southwestern. At UT Southwestern, Dr. Kelley serves as the Residency Rotation Director for Pediatric Pathology. She is very involved in medical education, with teaching responsibilities for medical students, pathology residents, and pediatric residents. Dr. Kelley belongs to several professional associations including the Society for Pediatric Pathology and Digital Pathology Association, where she is involved in the creation of educational materials for pathologists.
