After completing a fellowship in Rheumatology at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center, Dr. David Minna remained in southern California for the next thirty years where he practiced adult rheumatology, first in Long Beach and then Los Alamitos, before coming to UT Southwestern. Dr. Minna continues to treat patients with all types of arthritis at UT Southwestern while, at the same time, sharing his clinical knowledge and skills with the rheumatology fellows. The move to UT Southwestern and Aston has also given Dr. Minna the opportunity to pursue his interest in the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in rheumatology. He has not only incorporated the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound into his own practice but he has also introduced it to the rheumatology department and he now teaches it to the fellows.
