Biography Deepa Sirsi, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Specializing in pediatric neurology and epilepsy, she serves as the Program Director of the Pediatric Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship and Director of the Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Sirsi earned her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in India. She comnpleted her pediatrics residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by fellowships in pediatric neurology at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and clinical neurophysiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center. Board-certified in child neurology, clinical neurolphysiology, and epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she has been a member of the UT Southwestern faculty since 2008.
