Biography

Padmaja Reddy, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine in the Palliative Medicine Section.

Originally from Queens, New York, Dr. Reddy holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Harvard in Cambridge. She earned a master's in biology and secondary science education at Brooklyn College. She then completed her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She then completed internal medicine residency training and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at UT Southwestern.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hospice and palliative medicine, Dr. Reddy joined the UT Southwestern faculty 2017.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Reddy is involved in the Program Evaluation Committee for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, a member of the Clinical Competency Committee, and a member of the Program Evaluation Committee for the HOspice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program.
