  • Biography

    Yisheng Fang, M.D, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and Associate Residency Program Director-Anatomic Pathology in the Department of Pathology at UTSW Medical Center.  He is board certified in Anatomic and Clnical Pathology. After completing pathology residency training in State University of New York at Buffalo and before moving to Dallas in 2007, he severed as Assistant Professor and staff pathologist in Department of pathology of SUNY at Buffalo and Medical Director of Pathology&laboratory medicine for the Women and Childrens Hospital of Kaleida Health. 

    Dr. Fang currently specializes in breast pathology and his research activities including qualitity improvement and best practice in margins evaluation in breast conserving surgery and establishing preclinical models of breast cancer for study of oxygen homeostasis in breast cancer cell growth and metastasis with a focus on the transcription factor hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF).
