Biography

Dr. Nicol Corbin Bush joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Urology in the Division of Pediatric Urology in 2009. A Dallas native, Dr. Bush obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Dallas, attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and spent six years in urologic surgical training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. In addition to a pediatric urology fellowship at Children’s Medical Center, Dallas, she has trained with the Urologic Oncology Branch of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda and the Department of Clinical Sciences at UT Southwestern. Dr. Bush treats patients with a wide spectrum of pediatric urologic disorders. Her research interests include birth defects such as prrenatal hydronephrosis, hypospadias and undescended testes, as well as the roles of infection and vesicoureteral reflux upon renal scarring.
