Biography

Diane Nguyen, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and a member of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases.

Dr. Nguyen holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, followed by a Graduate Certificate of Healthcare Leadership and Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. she is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Dr. Nguyen completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology, Dr. Nguyen joined the faculty at UT Southwestern in 2018.

Dr. Nguyen is currently on the GI and Liver Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee at Parkland Health and Hospital System. She is also active in several professional societies, including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
