Rozen, M.D. has joined the Department of Plastic Surgery in UT Southwestern as an assistant professor. He completed his general surgical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then proceeded to complete his plastic surgery training at Johns Hopkins. He pursued a craniofacial fellowship with Dr. Kenneth Salyer and peripheral nerve surgery training with Dr. Lee Dellon from Johns Hopkins Hospital. His clinical interests in reconstructive surgery include solutions for clinical scenarios involving pain secondary to peripheral nerve problems after surgery, trauma or chemotherapy, treatment of pain and loss of sensation in patients suffering from diabetic neuropathy, facial paralysis, adult craniofacial reconstruction secondary to trauma or cancer. His cosmetic surgery interests include facial cosmetic surgery including facelift, brow lift, and nose surgery as well as body cosmetic surgery including breast augmentation, liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck. His research interests are investigating the role of nerve decompression in diabetic neuropathy, peripheral nerve surgery in the management of pain, peripheral nerve regeneration.
