Biography

Dr. Naz is originally from Pakistan and received her medical education at Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi, Pakistan with distinctions, role of honor in Medicine, Physiology and Pharmacology.  During her internship in Karachi she decided to pursue her career in internal medicine and that inspiration brought her to the USA. In the USA, she was trained in internal medicine at John H Stroger Hospital of Cook county in Chicago Illinois.

Dr Naz has served as Medical Director for Community based outpatient clinics for Department of Veterans Affairs in Los Angeles, California and has extensive outpatient and inpatient experience. She has served as Vice Chairperson For Department of Medicine at Methodist Richardson Medical Center for 2012 and 2013. She has been a hospitalist for last 9 years and brings that experience to UTSW.

Dr. Naz’s interests outside of medicine include reading, family and travel. She lives in Dallas with her husband and son.
