Biography Denny Jacob, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. Originally from Carrollton, Texas, Dr. Jacob holds a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas. He earned his medical degree at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He then completed internal medicine residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jacob joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019. He is currently a hospitalist at Parkland Health and Hospital System. Dr. Jacob is a member of the Dallas County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
