Biography

Elizabeth “Blair” Solow, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Division of Rheumatic Diseases.

Dr. Solow holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She earned her medical degree at the UT Health Science Center in Houston, and then completed her internship and residency training at UT Southwestern, where she remained to receive advanced training through fellowship program in rheumatology. During her rheumatology fellowship, she also completed a master's degree in clinical Science from the UT Southwestern Center for Translational Medicine.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2012.
 
Dr. Solow participates in patient care; the education of medical students, residents and fellows; and clinical and translational research in rheumatoid arthritis. She is also involved with the American College of Rheumatology, which she serves as a member of its Committee on Rheumatologic Care.
