  • Biography

    Dr. Amanda Shaw was raised near Houston, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a degree in history. She received her medical degree from UT Southwestern in 2009. During her time at UT Southwestern, she was fortunate to work on the medical staff at Camp Sweeney, a camp for children living with diabetes, and that is where her passion for working with children with endocrine disorders began. Dr. Shaw completed her residency in pediatrics in 2012 and fellowship in pediatric endocrinology in 2016 at UT Houston Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, and returned to Dallas as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics in the division of pediatric endocrinology.
