Biography Siayhareh Rambally , M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Division of Hematology/Oncology. She specializes in non-malignant blood disorders. Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Dr. Rambally holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Southern Methodist University. She received her medical degree from UT Southwestern, and completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also completed advanced training through a fellowship in hematology/oncology. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hematology and oncology, she joined the UT Southwestern Faculty in 2013. Dr. Rambally’s interests include sickle cell disease and bleeding disorders. Her investigations have resulted in multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as contributions to book chapters and case reports. At UT Southwestern, she is actively involved in educating medical students, residents, and fellows. She received the department’s Eugene P. Frenkel Teaching Award in 2020. She also serves on the Anticoagulation Safety Workgroup at Parkland Memorial Hosptial Dr. Rambally is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the American Society of Hematology.
