Biography

Dr. Megan Street graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2002.  She completed a research year at Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, IL before beginning medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.   She completed residency (2010) and fellowship (2013) at St. Louis University/ Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis.  She then moved to Dallas and joined UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas/ Children's Medical Center as faculty in 2013.   She is the Associate Medical Director for the Emergency Department in Dallas.  She also serves as the ombudsman for the PEM Fellowship Program and a Faculty Advisor for the Pediatric Residency Program.  Her areas of academic interest are sedation and Emergency Management.  She enjoys mentoring residents and fellows, focusing on achieving a health work/ life balance.  She lives in Dallas with her husband and 3 children.
