  • Biography

    Joe Lockridge, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Division of Nephrology. He specializes in nephrology and transplant nephrology and serves as Medical Director of Kidney Transplantation for Parkland Health & Hospital System.

    Dr. Lockridge holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Dallas. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern. He then received advanced training through a fellowship in nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship in transplant nephrology at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in Palo Alto, California.

    Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. Previously, he served on the faculty of Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.

    Dr. Lockridge is a Fellow of the American Society of Transplantation. He has delivered numerous presentations, contributed to several books related to transplantation, and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to his areas of expertise.
