Dr. Goldsteen D.O, F.A.C.P. came to UT Southwestern after a distinguished military career in the US. Army. Dr. Goldsteen served as Chief of the Inpatient Internal Medicine Wards at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He also served as the Ambulatory Curriculum Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency at Walter Reed and served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He received the Leonard Award for Outstanding Ambulatory Teacher at the Medical School. He also has served as a U.S. Army Flight Surgeon, Chief of Internal Medicine at the U.S. Army Aeromedical Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama and as the Internal Medicine Representative for to Aviation Medicine (US Army Aeromedical Advisory Panel). Dr. Goldsteen remains active as an Academic Internist and has a practice at the Aston Center for internal medicine when not teaching at the medical school. Dr Goldsteen also has served as the Clinical Director for the Parkland Center for Internal Medicine and supervises housestaff in their ambulatory patient care.
