Laura Baugh, D.O., Ph.D.

Laura Baugh, D.O., Ph.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a staff Pathologist at the VA North Texas Health Care System.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Baugh earned her Ph.D. in Immunology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She then completed her medical education at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and fellowships in Hematopathology (University of Michigan) and Molecular Pathology (University of Colorado).

Certified by the American Board of Pathology, Dr. Baugh joined the Dallas VA Medical Center in 2023.

Personal Note

Dr. Baugh’s interests outside of medicine include family, traveling, and animal welfare.
