Biography

Lindsay Compton, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Breast Imaging Division. Her clinical interests include mammography, breast ultrasound, breast magnetic resonance imaging, and image-guided procedures.

Dr. Compton earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern, where she also completed her radiology residency training. She remained at UT Southwestern to receive advanced training through a fellowship program in mammography.

Dedicated to optimizing the breast imaging training experience for residents and fellows at UT Southwestern, Dr. Compton serves on the Radiology Residency Recruitment Committee and the Breast Imaging Fellowship Interview Committee. Her dedication to patient care is demonstrated by her regular participation in the Multidisciplinary Breast Tumor Board.

Dr. Compton is also a member of several national and international professional societies, including the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
