Biography

Dr. Petroff is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at UT Southwestern and is a board-certified general pediatrician providing primary care for medically fragile children at the Complex Care Medical Services clinic at Children’s Medical Center. She is passionate about caring for children with special health care needs, bioethics, and developing physician leaders.

Dr. Petroff graduated from the University of Notre Dame where she received a B.S. in Biology and received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Health? in Dallas.  After residency, Dr. Petroff returned to her hometown to practice general pediatrics at Plano Children’s Medical Clinic for 12 years where she served as the medical director. In 2013 she re-joined Children’s Health?, continuing to serve the children of North Texas as a community pediatrician. She joined the Complex Care Medical Services team in 2019.
