I view health care as a partnership between the physician and the patient.”
As a Family Medicine physician, R. Nelson Lea, Jr., M.D., enjoys partnering with his patients to achieve optimal health. He believes part of his role is to help motivate positive lifestyle changes and to educate his patients about their health concerns. Dr. Lea has practiced Family Medicine in the Dallas area since 2000. His current practice has patients ranging from children to seniors.
Dr. Lea is excited to begin practicing at UT Southwestern Medical Center’s new Clinical Center at Richardson/Plano.
“The biggest advantage of working in the new clinical center is that it will allow me to bring the high-quality health services of UT Southwestern into the local community and deliver these services on a primary care level. I have the support and expertise of the University available to address any medical concerns,” he says.
Located next to the University of Texas at Dallas, UT Southwestern’s Clinical Center at Richardson/Plano is easily accessible to the surrounding community and the families of UT Southwestern employees.
