    Elizabeth Longino, M.D., is a facial plastic surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in rhinoplasty (including preservation and revision rhinoplasty), deep plane facelifts and neck liftsbrow and eyelid lifts, skin cancer reconstruction, and facial reanimation.

    Dr. Longino earned her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She completed Vanderbilt University Medical Center's residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and gained advanced training through Stanford University Medical Center's Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship. During her fellowship she was trained by Dr. Sam Most, a world-renowned leader in modern facial plastic surgery and innovator in preservation rhinoplasty techniques. Dr. Longino joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025, recruited to lead the development of the department's aesthetic facial plastic surgery practice.

    She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the Dallas County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association.

    Dr. Longino has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters in her areas of expertise. She has also published in high-impact journals, including Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and The Laryngoscope. She regularly speaks at national meetings and has received numerous awards.

    Personal Note

    When she’s not operating, Dr. Longino enjoys spending time with her husband, a Dallas native, and their daughter. She loves playing tennis and running, and has recorded a sub-3-hour personal record in the Boston Marathon. Dr. Longino is also a recreational chef and classical violist.
