Isha Darbari, M.D. Titles and Appointments Assistant Instructor Schools Medical School Departments Pediatrics Biography Isha Darbari, M.D., is Chief Resident in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Dr. Darbari’s clinical and research interests focus on hematology, transition from pediatric to adult medicine, and integrative care. Her peer-reviewed publications cover topics including pediatric hematology, mindfulness, and public health. Dr. Darbari’s research projects cover assessing barriers and supporting adolescents with sickle cell disease. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Darbari holds a Bachelor of Science in General Biology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. She was recognized with an ASH HONORS Award from the American Society of Hematology and a Community Pediatrics Advocacy Training Grant from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Darbari is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Texas Pediatric Society, and American Society of Hematology. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hindi.
