Biography

Tess Barton joined the division of General Pediatrics as a Hospitalist on August 1, 2003. She obtained her medical degree at UT Southwestern, and pediatric training from 1997-2000 from Children's Medical Center of Dallas. She was a fellow in Pediatric Infectious Disease at UT Southwestern/Children's Medical Center from July 2000-June 2003. Her particular interests are pneumococcal infections, vaccine-preventable illnesses and pediatric/adolescent HIV infection.
