Biography Syed Mazher, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Mazher completed his medical education at Dow Medical University in Pakistan. He completed internal medicine residency training at Highland Hospital of Rochester in New York, followed by a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He was then a Fellow and an Instructor for The Myeloma Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical oncology, Dr. Mazher joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019. Dr. Mazher is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
