May-Yun Wang, Ph.D. Assistant Professor School Medical School Department Internal Medicine Biography May-yun Wang, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Touchstone Diabetes Center faculty. Dr. Wang holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan, and a master's degree in biochemistry from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. She then completed her doctorate in molecular biology at National Tsing Hua University. She came to UT Southwestern Medical Center to complete two postdoctoral fellowships in cell biology and diabetes research. Dr. Wang joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 1997 as an Assistant Instructor. She was promoted to Instructor in 1999 and Assistant Professor in 2006.
