Dr. Nustas is Greek but grew up in Amman, Jordan. She earned a full scholarship from Jordan University School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. in 2012. Influenced by the ongoing war in the region in 2013, Dr. Nustas joined Doctors Without Borders and moved to Irbid in North Jordan to serve the Syrian refugees.
In 2014, she moved to Dallas to start her Internal Medicine Residency at Baylor University Medical Center, where she excelled both clinically and academically. Her main field of interest is Gastroenterology and research, particularly GI cancer screening. Dr. Nustas brings to UTSW a strong background in Internal Medicine and emphasizes on innovation, research, and teaching, while focusing on patient and family-centered care as her number one priority.
Dr. Nustas’s interest outside of medicine include spending time with family, baking, and yoga.
