Biography Sheena Knights, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine. She is the Associate Program Director of the HIV Fellowship program. Dr. Knights holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Princeton University in New Jersey. She earned her medical degree and completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston She then received advanced training through an infectious diseases fellowship at UT Southwestern. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Disease, Dr. Knights joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019. Dr. Knights’ clinical interest includes a focus on HIV care. Her research interests include HIV-associated Kaposi’s sarcoma and healthcare disparities. Personal Note Outside of medicine, her interests include cooking, traveling, and spending time with family.
