Biography

Dr. Lippman is a clinical psychologist in the Student Wellness and Counseling Center.  She completed her undergraduate education at Princeton University and her Ph.D. at Adelphi University's Derner Institute. She obtained a postdoctoral certificate in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis at New York University, where she also completed postdoctoral training in couple therapy and in human sexuality.  Dr. Lippman has spent her career in university mental health and in private practice.  Prior to UTSW, she held the position of Assistant Director of Clinical Training in the Student Counseling Service at The New School. Her clinical interests include develomental issues of young adulthood, bereavement, creativity, mindfulness, relationship and sexual issues, and psychotherapy integration.
