Biography

Anamika Goenka, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine.

Originally from India, Dr. Goenka completed her medical education at Padamshree Dr. D Y Patil Medical College. She completed internal medicine residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Goenka joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016, left to practice at Texas Health Resources Fort Worth and other hospitals, and returned to UT Southwestern in 2022.

Personal Note

Outside of medicine, Dr. Goenka enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
