Biography

Carolyn Sutton, R.N., WHCNP, is a member of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1979. Three years later she graduated from the Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas; and in 1985, she received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Texas Women’s University in Denton. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Sutton has been a Faculty Associate in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1985. She specializes in gynecology and well-woman care, including treatment for abnormal and irregular periods, menopausal symptoms, and contraception.
