Biography

Ananya Jhaveri, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and is a member of its Division of Endocrinology. She specializes in osteoporosis, primary hyperparathyroidism, and thyroid disorders.

Dr. Jhaveri earned her medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center and advanced training in endocrinology through a fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.

Board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes, Dr. Jhaveri joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Jhaveri enjoys spending time with her family, reading nonfiction, doing crosswords, and biking.
