Biography

Caitlin Siropaides, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Dr. Siropaides holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Allegheny College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency training and advanced training through a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Siropaides joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016.

At UT Southwestern, Dr. Siropaides is the Program Director of the UTSW VitalTalk Advanced Communication Training Program, Clinician Lead of the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program in Palliative Care, and Course Director of Internal Medicine Residency Communication Training. She's also the Clinician Lead for ambulatory palliative care at Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Personal Note

Dr. Siropaides’ interests outside of medicine include horseback riding, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
