Dr. Lauren Bouton was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She attended medical school in Philadelphia at Drexel University College of Medicine and then completed residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's in Cleveland, Ohio.  There she earned her Certificate in Global Child Health and served as a Chief Resident.  Her special interests include asthma quality improvement research, global health, and medical education.
