Biography Dr. Loria is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and serves as the Medical Director of the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children’s Medical Center. Her clinical, advocacy, and research interests include the care of vulnerable child populations, the impact of adverse childhood experiences on health outcomes, and the integration of public health and medicine in the provision of trauma-informed, pediatric primary care services. She is specifically interested in improving the health outcomes of immigrant children and children in foster care. As a fellowship-trained general academic pediatrician, Dr. Loria is also involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education at UT-Southwestern Medical Center and serves as an Academic Colleges mentor . She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Pediatric Society, and the Academic Pediatric Association.
