Biography

Dr. DeWaters is originally from Georgia and received her initial medical training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Drawn by the opportunity to combine interests in clinical research and education in an academic setting, she comes to UTSW to complete a General Internal Medicine fellowship.  Her clinical practice emphasizes patient and family-centered care. Ami’s interests outside of medicine include her family, reading, and theater.
