Biography

Dr. Kimberli Taylor Lambert, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Cardiology.

Dr. Lambert completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at Spelman College in Atlanta. She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. She completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Dr. Lambert joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014. She is currently a cardiologist at the North Texas VA Health Care System in Dallas and is the director of the EKG/Holter/Stress lab.

Dr. Lambert’s clinical interests include cardiovascular health disparities, with a special focus on eliminating cardiovascular disease in minorities and women. 

Dr. Lambert is a member of the Association of Black Cardiologists and the National Medical Association.

Dr. Lambert supports her local community through outreach programs, health fairs, and public speaking to bring awareness to high-risk communities.
