Biography

Dr. Agusala is originally from Michigan and completed her training in internal medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to coming to UTSW, she also worked in hospital medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She brings to UTSW a strong focus on evidence-based primary care, doctor-patient collaboration, and good transitions of care. Her clinical interests include geriatrics, women’s health, and preventative medicine. Dr. Agusala’s interests outside of medicine include her family, cooking, reading, and fitness.
